what is with me and all these freaky games. anyhoo, I suggest any who would like a thrill to give this little game a go! It's a promo game by Doritos (why they are doing this I have no idea why OAO)where they launch you into their virutal hotel, Hotel 626. This site is rather nitpicky, as hotel hours are open from 6 PM to 6 AM, meaning that you can only play it then (to create the mood of the genre of the game, but you can always adjust your computer clock : D). Here at your stay you try to escape via short puzzles. They're all pretty simple, but it really messes around with your head (and your sanity). Such examples go from opening a door (easy, right? xD) to taking a picture of a ghost in a dark bathroom (UHM. yeah, playng this at 12 AM in the morning was REALLY not my cup of tea.)
They ask for your permission to use your webcam and mic (this is optional. However, if you want a more realistic feel to the game it's a good idea if you allow them to). If you live in the states, you are also open to the option of giving them your phone number, in which someone calls you and gives you creepy directions of what to do (AM I GLAD I LIVE IN CANADA).
Haha i was originally going to spazz out about this game from freaking about it so much but now i'm just advertising it. It's worth a visit because it's incredibly well-done, and for such a short game it goes all out in freaking the living daylights out of you.
